Peartree Weddings finally opened to the world in 2008 after years of consulting on wedding design on a private and word-of-mouth basis. The idea dates back all the way to 2002, when founder Josh Alvies found himself on the cusp of marrying a wonderful woman, and decided he needed the perfect website to both celebrate the nuptials and make sure that information disseminated to guests in the fastest and most economical way possible.

Peartree Weddings fills a niche; everyone wants to have a unique and stylish wedding, but might not have the time or resources to make sure that this applies to every little detail. More than ever, indeed, a fashionable, attractive, and functional website is integral to the overall success of a wedding; while beautiful and sophisticated invitations will never go out of style, today’s wedding guests need to have the same information, and more, at their fingertips twenty-four-seven.
